I'm Back...I put the website on the back
burner for a year so I could concentrate on getting published.
My work paid off - I was published several times during 2007 in
Somerset Publications. (If you want to see a sample of
some of my stuff take a look at the photographs we've posted
under "Published".) I was also working at a LSS in Katy,
TX. called Maridawn's and doing some teaching throughout metro-
Houston.
For those of you who don't know my story I'll share a few words
about my past. I worked in the corporate world most of my
adult life until I semi-retired in August of 2001. In
December of 2001 I opened my retail business in Phoenix (Ahwatukee)
by the name of Anna & Bess. It was a specialty boutique
that sold gifts and home decor with upscale, high-end
scrapbooking items. After being exposed to the altered
world I knew I was going to be an altered, mixed-media "scrap
artist". I was hooked.
But, as often happens to the small family owned boutique, Anna &
Bess could not survive and we closed in December of 2004 and
moved to Katy, Texas, for a new perspective on life. At
that time we started our first website annasbest.com which then
turned into
www.cynthiaandco.com.
Through Cynthia and Co. I hope to offer you quality kits with
illustrated instructions and a few of my favorite pieces of art.
From time to time I may offer supplies but for the most part I
am going to focus on kits and "Fancies".
Thank you for stopping by
www.cynthiaandco.com and I hope you enjoy your stay.
Cynthia
P.S. This is a recent photograph of Winnie Pooh (my baby doll)
and me at a puppy birthday party given and hosted by Jen Howard.
